I hope you’re having a wonderful week!
I know that 2020 has been a crazy year, so I spent the weekend thinking about what I could say to help put things into perspective. I hope my thoughts ring true for you…
There will always be injustices in this world. This world will never be perfect, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t strive to make it as perfect as possible. Do what you can to make the world a better, more peaceful place. Serve in the best way possible according to what God wants of you.
Each of us is a unique Soul; a Divine Creation of God. The clay temple we temporarily wear during our very short time in this world is not who we are, and it’s not who others are. So don’t tie your identity too tightly to the color of your skin, your gender, or how wealthy you are, because you are not any of these things. Tie your identity to being God’s creation, that is it.
We each are here in this physical world to learn. The situation you find yourself in, including your challenges, obstacles and any perceived privilege, is between you and God only. God put you, and each of us, in our particular situations because God has determined that this is the best way for us to learn what God wants us to learn. Don’t feel guilty or resentful for your situation and don’t compare your situation to other’s, because others are also experiencing what God wants them to learn.
Whatever situation God put you in, appreciate it, embrace it, do what you can to make your life and other’s lives better. Uplift others. Have compassion for your fellow man and be kind in your words and deeds. See the best in people, and by seeing the best in them you will bring out their best. You can’t know what is in someone else’s heart, so assume the best.
Stay calm and project calm, especially when tensions get high. Find peace in your heart. Each moment, you have a choice to be a vehicle for God’s Love, or a vehicle for illusion and fear. Choose God’s Love; this will have a hugely positive affect on people.
For 20 minutes each day, have alone-time with God; in a private room or in the woods. Quiet your mind. Still your emotions. Be grateful for what you have in your life and focus on something you love with complete purity.
Let people be. You can’t force people to believe as you do, nor is it your right to do so. The only way to inspire change is by living your best life and letting God’s light shine through you.
Grant people the freedom to say what they want to say, even if you don’t agree. We each have the right to speak our minds. It’s better to let people openly say where they stand. You may find that they actually have a valid point, or if you still disagree with them you know whom to stay away from.
Don’t take or damage other people’s stuff.
Defend yourself and your loved ones when necessary.
Don’t let anyone, including the government, infringe upon your rights and liberties, which are God-given. But these liberties also come with the responsibility to respect other people’s rights and liberties.
(Please forward this email to everyone who needs it. Here’s where I posted the original article. If you have comments, please post them in the comment section of the article. Thanks.)
Here are four more points I think you will like today…
FIRST, do you feel like you are living in the Mad Hatter’s world of craziness? That the people you once turned to are trying to convince you that red is green, cold is hot and lies are truth? Now, more than ever, it is crucial to question what we hear and find trusted voices that are actual truth seekers.
SECOND, I have a question for you. What topic would you like me to cover on my next webinar?
a) Online Security: VPNs, Private Browsing & Search Engines.
b) Online Security: Secure Email & Eliminating Spam.
c) The Fundamentals of Money, Part 2.
d) My Perspective of What is Happening in the World Right Now.
e) Other: Tell me your ideas.
Please reply to this email and let me know.
THIRD, I found some wonderful new music from a band called Pomplamoose. Have a listen. I think you will enjoy it.
FOURTH, I uploaded a comprehensive video training class about “Water in an Emergency“. This is the best class you will find on this subject anywhere, and I’m providing it for free. You can watch it here.
BONUS, premium members now have full access to my Storing Water for an Emergency online course and ebook. (This course alone costs as much as an annual premium membership, so it’s another reason to join.)
Again, I want to make clear that my goal is to create a great newsletter that you look forward to reading. I am not penalizing people who don’t sign up as premium members, but rather I am rewarding those who do with even more great things (because premium members keep this newsletter alive). I greatly appreciate your support!
Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter!
P.S. I received a wonderful unsolicited testimonial from one of my premium members this week. Here’s what Steve had to say…
I am proud and happy to be a premium subscriber! Your newsletter is well worth the small price.
A few items of interest:
- I took advantage of your link to the Real Meal folks; their product is great! And thanks to you, priced right too!
- You always have such great info in your letters. I devour every bit of every one. Keep up the good work!
- I must take exception to this video about the guy making the obstacle course for squirrels. I’ve quit trying to feed birds and just enjoy challenging the squirrels(‘squirrel-proof’… right…). I had to send this link to everybody I know. I laughed till I cried (twice), wet my pants (twice), and have saved the video on my network. If it’s possible to make TOO FUNNY a video, this is it!
- Your links to the Mike Maloney series is brilliant. I’ve been a MM fan for some time, and his series on ‘money’ should be in every high school curriculum (but of course that can’t be allowed, can it…?)
I wish you every success, and good fortune. Keep up the good work!
